Got an opportunity to watch Skating club of Boston's annual Icechips show at Harvard's hockey center. I have never shoot figure skating before, so searched online for settings people used. The venue is not very well lit since it is more a show than real competition. I first set ISO 400, f4.0 and 1/250-320, later also tried ISO 640, even 800. Still wish 1) could sit closer to the rink, 2) has a f2.8 lens, 3) maybe even with a 1.4X extensor. Anyway, only got 10% relatively good ones.
He, this one is so great! First I thought I am reading a journal article with a professional photo!
