Took a detour coming back from Ottawa. 417-416-16-812-11-81-90. The foliage at Upstate New York is spectacular, particular along route 812.

Fall Foliage -western new york

Took two day off this week and explored a few state parks here in western new york, Allegany State Park, Letchworh State Park, and Niagara Falls State Park. Weather was super cooperative. Warm and sunny, a little too sunny to get better pictures. But I am not complaining.

Arrow points the way

I took a foliage trip with friends around Quabbin reservoir and part of the Mohawk trail (Route 2). The following picture was taken at French King Bridge on Route 2. Falling leafs floating on the river look like an arrow from the top of the bridge.Interesting.
